Weekends are always busy times for online poker sites which run massive guaranteed prize pool tournaments, and last weekend was no exception. What was an exception was the fact that PokerStars’ Sunday Million was not responsible for the biggest winner of the weekend. It did come close but in the end it was the winner of Full Tilt Poker’s 13th FTOPS XVIII event, who took the laurels. Not_ya_friend took down a $227,574 haul, even after he struck a two-way deal with fellow top finisher cardking303. The event attracted a starting field of 4,715. These guys combined $300+$22 buy-ins, for a total prize pool of $1,414,500.
The event saw another six-figure winner. Third-place man 00s took home $125,607. Notable finishes in the event where are those of Rocco Palumbo and Dan O'Brien who finished in 11th and 39th places respectively.

PokerStars’ Sunday Million came extremely close to creating the biggest winner of the weekend yet again. DeadMoney843 won the event for a reward of $227,364. The tournament which attracted a starting field of 8,341 players and generated a prize pool of $1,668,200, saw a two-way deal at the top as well. Sibydom ended up in 2nd place, taking home $197,364 for his efforts.
The Sunday Million generated 3 6-figure winners as well. mi777 walked away with $125,115, having finished third.
Notable Sunday Million finishes were those of Christian Kruel and Jesper Hougaard.

The Sunday Warm-up attracted 4,644 players, to do battle for a prize pool of $928,800. Two players walked away with six-figure prizes in this poker tournament. Maor Feldinger won it for a $145,712 reward. Second-place man “bugstud” collected $108,205 for his efforts.
Another event to create two six-figure winners was Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS VIII event #11. Kory Kilpatrick walked away with the top prize of $155,488. Player “nospeculation” finished second, picking up $106,899.
