Qualify Online to the European Poker Tour 2015 - EPT 11 PCA

The PCA (PokerStars Caribbean Adventure) is quite possibly the most special stop of the EPT 11 calendar: it is always the first major live poker event of the year, where players world-over get their the first real taste of action. It is also one of the most generous live poker series not only of the European Poker Tour, but also of the live poker calendar. Winning the PCA is always a special honor, and the winner becomes an instant poker celebrity, one of the "name" crowd going forward.

This year's PCA kicks off on January 6 and it wraps up on January 14. The scene of the action is the luxurious Atlantis Resort once again, and the Main Event, which costs $10.3k to enter, Runs on January 8-14. The Series consists of no fewer than 35 poker events, each of them featuring rather massive buy-ins and therefore massive prize-pools as well. The 2015 winner of the Main Event was Kevin Schultz, who walked away with almost $1.5 million. Schultz defeated Diego Ventura heads-up. The share of the runner-up was $907k. As always, this year's field was full of online qualifiers. In fact, Ventura had earned his seat through one of the online qualifiers at PokerStars too. Within the top 10, there were no fewer than 6 online qualifiers. Soccer star Ronaldo - one of the sponsored sports pros of the site - played too: he finished 26th, for $42.1k.

While qualifying to the 2015 PCA is no longer available/possible (given that the stop has wrapped up already), aiming to win a seat in one of the European Poker Tour 2015 Main Events only really makes sense through PokerStars' satellites. There are plenty of other stops coming up in Season 11 and qualifiers for them are already running at the site
