Party Poker has long been the online poker room offering some of the most generous promotions and guaranteed prize-pool
tournaments in the industry. Their Monthly Million promotion is one of these generous GTDs. On the first Sunday of every month,
Party Poker gives away a $1 million guaranteed prize-pool in its
Monthly Million tournament. Players can buy in directly for $600+$40, but qualifying is also possible through an intricate network of satellites and sub satellites which makes it possible for players to earn a seat for as little as $1.
All month long, there are qualifiers running for the Monthly Million, and the week before the event features extra qualifying possibilities.
One way to make it to the Monthly Million is through the Monthly Million Sub Qualifier rebuy. This sub satellite costs only $1 to register for and it takes place daily, sending players to the monthly million qualifiers which would normally cost $64+$6 to enter (buying in to these qualifiers directly is also possible of course). The daily Monthly Million Sub Qualifier Speed is also sending players to the $64+$6, but it costs $8 to enter.
The $64+$6 qualifier takes place 3 times every Monday and offers a total of 18 Guaranteed seats for the Monthly Million.
Other daily sub satellites are the $1M Mega Friday Speed Rebuy (costs $2 to enter), the $1M Mega Friday Qualifier Speed (costs $6), the $1M Super Saturday Qualifier Speed Rebuy (costs $1) and the $1M Super Saturday Qualifier Speed (costs $4).
These sub qualifiers act as feeders to either the MEGA Friday satellite (which costs $50+$5 to buy into directly and has 30 guaranteed seats for the Monthly Million), or the Super Satellite Saturday (which costs $32+$3 and has 25 seats guaranteed).
Besides the above said qualifiers and sub qualifiers, there are daily $44 Speed sub qualifiers as well as Player Points qualifiers which cost 10 and 25 PPs respectively.
