PartyPoker is one of the online poker rooms hardest hit by the 2006 UIGEA. In an obvious effort to make up the lost ground, it is now churning out promotion after promotion, a fact which can only be beneficial for its existing and new players. Here’s their latest promo-bonanza:
In order to carve yourself a share of the $10,000 prize-pool offered each day, all you need to do is generate as many PartyPoints as possible during the day (from 17:00 ET to 12:00 ET the following day), and depending on how high you finish on the respective day’s leader boards, you’ll win cash prizes. I know what most of you will say: those leader boards will most likely be dominated by the hardcore players, and that won’t give little fish the chance to get a nibble on the whole deal. Well, that’s not exactly case. In fact, there will be two leader boards every day, one for high-volume players, and one for the tinier fish. The prizes will be different too, but you will get a fair chance to finish high on your leader board.
The micro/low leader board will give $250 to the player who finishes in 1st place, and $160 to second place. Players all the way down to 300th place will be rewarded ($5).
The medium/high leader board offers $600 to the first-place finisher and $400 to second place. As prizes get progressively smaller down the leader board, the player finishing in 100th place still earns $20.
In case you happen to accumulate the exact same number of PartyPoints as another player on the leader board, the prize money due to the position you occupy and the subsequent position will be added up and divided equally between the two of you. Make sure you stick to the terms and conditions put forth on PartyPoker’s site lest you risk being disqualified.
