Titled Loyalty 2.0, PartyPoker's new loyalty program has been launched, and apparently players no longer need calculators to determine the benefits that this new program will deliver to them starting March 2015. What exactly is new in the loyalty program though? Well, for starters, the site has made it easier for its players to ascend the various loyalty levels, as now, fewer points are needed to this end. Bronze level is still the starting level, and for Silver, players only need to generate 50 points/month, instead of 400 points per the terms of the old deal.
For Gold level, instead of 1k points, now only 750 are needed per month. The difference is most palpable at the palladium level, where players now need only 2k points instead of 9k. Obviously, this also means that besides ascending the levels faster, one will also be able to hang on to his/her loyalty benefits easier.

The overhauling of the program also meant that the site cleared the shelves of its loyalty store of the old, stale merchandize and it filled everything up with shiny new stuff, like cash-back, which can now be worth as much as 22.22%. The points that one will rack up through real money cash and tournament action will now be worth a whole lot more, because they'll be usable in the weekly loyalty
tournaments as well, of which there's one available for every loyalty level.
The introduction of the new loyalty system was celebrated through a $500k event on March 1, which came hand-in-hand with the Loyalty Launcher, that awarded extra prizes to players as they reached various milestones.
Points that players have already earned before the new system was in place will remain. Players will be able to use these points the same way they use the newly-earned ones.
March loyalty levels shall be determined based on the amount of points earned through February. Rewards picked up in the loyalty store before the launch of the new system will remain valid.
The actual way players will rack up the points WILL NOT change. It will not be easier or harder to lock up points, which means that with points-production rates un-altered, the loyalty program does indeed get a boost in real terms.
