He walked away with $870,000 as the first place winner and has never looked back. The Five Diamonds World Poker Classic is exactly that, a classic, and this year you could be attending the event at the Bellagio where you will play holdem agasint the best with a package from PartyPoker.
The PartyPoker Five Diamond World Poker Classic packages are each worth $14,000 and can be won at the on line poker site though qualifiers running up until November 20th. Each Sunday one package will be given away which includes 7 nights’ accommodation in the Bellagio, the main event entry, and $2,000 of spending money. The WPT Five Diamond Satellite tournaments run each Sunday at 15:20 ET with a buy-in of $700 + $50. Also running every day with a buy-in of $9 is a WPT Five Diamond Sub Qualifier Speed; from both of these daily tournaments players will progress to the WPT Five Diamond Satellite Qualifier. The Satellite Qualifiers are open to all members of the PartyPoker online poker community for a buy-in of $80, and run each day at 13:45 ET with a Turbo qualifier on Sundays. From the Satellite Qualifier 1 in 10 players will win a place in the Sunday Satellite tournament from which 1 in 20 players will get one of those $14,000 packages.
