European Poker Tour Tallinn

The EPT’s first Season 7 stop will be in the beautiful capital city of Estonia. Tallin is the scene, and the first EPT trophy of the new season is the goal, on August 11th-16th. Tallinn has never hosted an EPT event before, but PokerStars, the sponsor of the tour already has experience in organizing live poker events there. The Baltic Poker festival attracted 300 of the top Nordic and Baltic poker players, and given the “poker hotspot” status of the area, the EPT is likely to generate much greater interest.
The city itself, with its medieval architecture and summer charm is likely to prove an even bigger attraction for players from world over.

The Main Event is a €4,250 one, it is capped at 600 players and it’s set to take place at the Swissotel. While it’s not cheap at all, players can qualify for a seat through one of the online poker qualifiers run by PokerStars, for a fraction of the direct buy-in.

How to Qualify for the EPT’s Tallinn Main Event?

Download PokerStars’ software right now, and go to the EPT section under the “Events” tab to find the right EPT Tallinn satellite. Go to our “How to Qualify” page for more details.
PokerStars’ EPT Tallinn satellites give away €6,000 packages. The packages include the buy-in to the Main Event, accommodation and €770 in spending money. Satellites start from 250 FPPs or €5.50.

Players need to adhere to a smart casual dress code and they need to be at least 21 years old to be granted access to the venue.
The focus will be on the Main Event of course, but there will be plenty of other opportunities for players to turn a buck or two in other events. On the very first day of action for instance, there will be a NL Holdem, one rebuy super satellite for the Main Event which only costs €550. There will be a €330 PLO turbo event as well. Even on Day 1A of the Main Event, there will be a €550 super satellite.
A €330 Ladies Only event is also on the schedule, on August 12th. The highest buy-in event of the stop will be the €10,000+€300 NL Holdem event, which will kick off on the 13th.
On top of these, there will also be a variety of bounty tournaments as well as all sorts of NLH and PLO events so players will have plenty to do even if they happen to bust out early from the Main Event.
