Busting out as a bubble-boy from any tournament is probably the most painful and psychologically taxing moment of any poker player’s career, and the pain is even more acute when the tournament we’re talking about is one of the Punta Cana satellites run by Bodog Poker. There are a total of 5 such satellites which means that – like it or not – there will be no fewer than 5 heartbroken bubble-boys. A While ago, the WSOP began a practice, which saw the bubble-boy of its Main Event rewarded with an entry to the following year’s Big Dance. That’s pretty much the sort of approach Bodog Poker have taken to alleviating the suffering of their 5 Punta Cana bubble-boys: they will get the chance to duke it out among themselves for the last of the available Punta Cana packages worth some $3.8k.
Sign up to Bodog Poker now and play in their Punta Cana qualifiers, knowing that even if you bust out as a bubble-boy, you still have a safety-net backing you up.

Now then, this $3.8k package is a sort of a consolation prize. The actual packages handed out by the Punta Cana direct qualifiers are worth $5.5k. Every one of the satellites offers no fewer than 3 such packages to players. He who finishes in 4th place (the bubble-boy) will get to play for the $3.8k package as said above.
Bubble-boys don’t have to do anything to secure their tournament tickets. Within 48 hours of finishing in 4th place in one of the five qualifiers, they will be automatically issued a ticket by the system. They will also be contacted by Bodog support within that time-frame by phone, to make sure they know they have the ticket and that they can play.
What exactly does the $3.8k Punta Cana package cover though? For starters, there’s a Main Event buy-in, which costs $1,650. Accommodation is also covered: the winner will be able to spend 6 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, between November 4 and November 10. The transport to and from the Punta Cana airport is also covered as is a wide selection of food and drinks. According to Bodog, there’s an additional package component, possibly worth more than those listed above: Bodog swag.

The 5-player tournament for the $3.8k package takes place on October 15, 2014, at 9:05 PM ET.
Sign up to Bodog Poker right now and hit their Punta Cana qualifiers. The deal is just too sweet to pass up.
