The giant of on line poker sites, PartyPoker is proudly presenting Pokerfest II and with $3.5 million in guaranteed prize pools, it’s truly a giant on line poker festival.
Pokerfest is the biggest on line poker festival, and this time round it’s bigger than ever. Pokerfest II is scheduled to be held at PartyPoker between April 22nd and May 6th, and with an extra half a mil plus a WSOP 2012 package, members of other on line poker sites will be clamouring to become members in order to take part.
Of course the idea of any on line poker tournament is play online poker for money, but members of PartyPoker will be taking this idea to a whole new level. The Pokerfest II on line poker festival not only has $3.5 million in guaranteed prize pools but there’s also a package for the WSOP 2012 worth $14,000 up for grabs. Pokerfest II will consist of 47 tournaments and will culminate with the $1 million Main Event which will take place on May 6th. In addition to the tournaments members can play online poker for money in Pokerfest II through the leader boards. There will be a leader board running for each buy-in level; points buy-in, low buy-in, and high buy-in. The points buy-in leader board will pay out to 250 players with a top prize of $250. The low buy-in leaderboard pays out to 500 players and has a $15,000 guaranteed prize pool, whilst the high buy-in leaderboard has a $32,000 GTD prize pool and also pays out to the top 500 players.
PartyPoker is running many of the Pokerfest II tournaments for very low buy-ins, none-the-less, they are also offering members several great qualifying routes to the tournaments. Rather than running qualifiers for specific tournaments, PartyPoker is running qualifiers for tournament buy-in levels, so once you’ve won a qualifier; you get to chose which tournament to use it for.
Finally, PartyPoker is also offering Pokerfest II Jackpots. For example a player who finishes in the money in 10 tournaments will receive a GTD jackpot bonus of $2,500 plus an iPad; finish on the final table of 10 Pokerfest II tournaments and you’ll get $15,000 + iPad. Best of all, should a single player win 3 Pokerfest II tournaments they’ll find themselves the winners of a bonus jackpot of $20,000 plus a WSOP 2012 package worth $14,000!
