Towards the end of the month, PartyPoker will give its players the opportunity to play for large prize-pools and minute buy-ins in its Pokerfest: Micro Turbo Edition. Indeed, the promotion will give players the chance to grab a share of a $115k total prize-pool, for as little as $1.
The Pokerfest: Micro Turbo Edition is essentially a 10-day tournament series, which will feature no fewer than 42 micro buy-in turbo tournaments. The Series kicks off on May 23 and it wraps up on June 1 (for those who may not know it: turbo events feature 5-minute blind levels).
The buy-ins for the tournaments are indeed minute to begin with, but that doesn’t mean that PartyPoker doesn’t provide an even cheaper way for players to earn some seats in its Micro Turbo series.

The first event of the Pokerfest: Micro Turbo Edition is a $1 6-max turbo NL Holdem affair, with re-buys and add-ons, which features a $1k guarantee. Provided there’s enough player interest, obviously, all the guarantees can (and probably will) be exceeded.
Besides plain
NL Holdem events like the above said one, the Pokerfest will feature PLO action too, as well as bounty tournaments, which do indeed give an entirely new dimension to the action.
In addition to the above mentioned online qualifiers, players will get yet another chance to secure Pokerfest seats, through the Pokerfest Mission.
The PokerFest Mission will give players who complete its objectives $10 in tournament dollars, which they will be able to use to buy into any Pokerfest event of their choice.
In order to get their hands on the $10, players have to play in at least 5 PokerFest: Micro Turbo Edition events (and that includes the qualifiers) , they have to generate 50 poker points at the real money tables, they have to play at least 2 SNGs or MTTs for 5 days straight, and they have to knock out 50 opponents in MTTs or SNGs. While some of those requirements may seem daunting, they should all be well within reach for players who put in decent volumes.
