Sumer is here and PartyPoker is celebrating by giving you the chance to be one of the Summer SuperStars every single day.
Up and running right now is Summer SuperStars; the opportunity to make all members of PartyPoker a star not just for a day but every single day for the whole of the summer. Running up till August 19th you can earn a part of a $5,000 prize pool every day, and all you need to do is play online poker for money.
There are three parts to being a winner in the Summer SuperStars – freerolls, Leaderboards, and VIP extras. When you play online poker for money at PokerStars this summer you will be eligible for one of their three Freeroll tournaments. The Summer SuperStar Bronze freeroll is worth $1,000 and players qualify for it by collecting just one point. Any member of PartyPoker who earns 10 points can qualify for the $1,500 Summer SuperStar Silver freeroll. Members who play holdem and earn 25 points or more will find themselves invited to the Summer SuperStar gold $2,500 freeroll. In addition to the freeroll prizes, players will also earn leaderboard points based on their tournament positions. Players can play holdem in the freeroll tournaments every single day, at 14:00, 15:00 and 16:00 respectively.
The leaderboards are according to the freeroll levels, as such there is a bronze leaderboard worth $5,000, a silver leaderboard worth $10,000, and a gold leaderboard worth $25,000. From each of these leaderboards the top 250 positions get payouts, including a WPT package to the first place winners in each leaderboard.
In addition to the freeroll and leaderboard components of the Summer SuperStars promotion, VIP members can benefit even further this summer. Players who are able to maintain their performance for the duration of the promotion will be rewarded with extra points. For example Global SuperStar members could earn an extra 11,000 points over the course of the summer.
