Montreal perfectly combines old and new, and this November it is going to play host to the World Poker Tour: PartyPoker is giving away on line poker packages!
November 29th will see amateur and professional poker players congregate in the city of Montreal to play holdem for a share of a huge prize pool as the World Poker Tour hits arguably the most beautiful of Canada’s cities. PartyPoker is giving away on line poker packages for the WPT Montreal right now, worth $5,000 each. The prize packages cover the main event buy-in which would otherwise set you back $3,650, plus $1,350 for spending, and some wonderful perks laid on by those responsible for hospitality at PartyPoker. The qualifiers for these WPT Montreal packages are already up and running, and will continue until November 24th.
There is a WPT Montreal Satellite running each Sunday at 20:50 CET with a direct buy-in of $250 + $25. Members of PartyPoker can however play holdem in one of these weekly satellites for as little as nothing! There are freeroll tournaments running every day; the top 25 players from the WPT Montreal Freerolls will be entered into the $1 sub qualifier; from there it’s a step up to the WPT Montreal Satellite Qualifier running every day, and from there one seat in the satellite will be awarded for every $275 in the pot.
In 2012 the World Poker Tour Montreal was the first major tournament to be held in Canada since 2008 and was won by Jonathan Roy who walked away with a very handsome C$780,000.
