Whilst many on line poker sites have closed their WSOP 2012 qualifiers the PartyPoker qualifiers are still wide open, meaning you still have the chance to live the dream.
Of course the huge prize is a big factor as to why every-one wants to play holdem in the WSOP Main Event, but it isn’t just the money. The prestige and excitement of being able to pitch your skills against the best poker players on the planet makes the opportunity of going to Vegas to play in the WSOP one that simply can’t be missed. Many on line poker sites will be represented amongst the players at the Rio, but few will be as well represented as PartyPoker who is still running on line poker qualifiers.
The Main Event packages being made available to PartyPoker players are worth $14,000. These WSOP packages cover the $10,000 buy in, 10 nights; accommodation, and $2,000 for spending money. The qualifiers will be running until June 17th, and there is a way to qualify for every buy-in level out there, meaning that you could even play holdem in the WSOP Main Event for free!
PartyPoker hosts a WSOP Satellite Qualifier twice daily during the week, and once on Sundays. The direct buy-in for a Satellite Qualifier is $75 + $5, and one in ten players will win a seat in the WSOP Satellite. Players can however play in the WSOP Satellite Qualifier through one of three qualifiers that run ever day for a fraction of the price. Each day there are $4, $2, and freeroll tournaments leading into the Satellite Qualifiers. The WSOP freeroll leads into the $2 daily which leads into the WSOP Satellite Qualifier. The WSOP Satellite is held by PartyPoker on Sundays at 14:50 ET. The direct buy-in is $700 + $50 and the last one will run on June 17th. From the WSOP Satellite one in twenty players will receive one of those $14,000 WSOP Main Event Packages.
