Massive online poker Series which mimic the WSOP or various other live poker events are extremely popular among players for a number of reasons. First of all, they feature superb prize-pools (most of the time) and the structure itself is appealing given how it feels like one is indeed playing in a live tournament series. Bodog’s Black Diamond Poker Open is one such series and while some of it is already in the books, the thick of the prize-pools is yet to come.
The first part of the BDPO, called the Contender Series got going in February and it wrapped up on March 12. It featured small buy-in events, some of which only cost $3.3 to enter. The Main Event of this stage of the Series featured a $50k prize-pool, but all that is ancient history now.

What players focus on now is the second part of the BDPO, the one with the big prize-pools, the big buy-ins and the big money. Known as the Championship Series, this stage of the BDPO features high stakes tournaments, but on some, the buy-ins still remain in a rather reasonable range: the cheapest ones cost some $22 to enter.
If you feel like taking part in the Championship Series, open an account at Bodog Poker right now and make sure you’re at the tables when it really matters.

The Championship Series culminates in the Main Event, which features a $300k guarantee and which takes place on April 13. What that means is that the eventual winner will walk away with at least $60k, on top of which, Bodog will throw in a Championship watch too, worth some $5k.

Obviously, the Series would not be complete without a massive selection of online qualifiers, which make it possible for players to play in the big one for small change. Buying into the BDPO events directly is possible too of course at the site, but there’s always great value in online satellites and these are no different. There are thousands of qualifiers running for the BDPO events as you’re reading this and some of these qualifiers only cost $1.1, offering a superb potential ROI.

Everything accounted for, the Championship Series features 100 tournaments and it offers guaranteed prizes totaling more than $2.5 million.
The best way to qualify for the Main Event is through the Super Saturday Satellite Days, when satellites are running around the clock.
