EPT Loutraki

The EPT has never previously had a stop in Greece and the original plans of the organizers for season 8 did not include such a stop either. Those plans have recently been altered though and a new Greek stop has been added to offer Greek and south European players the opportunity to battle it out in a high profile tournament of their own.

The EPT Loutraki stop has been introduced only a few days ago, as it became clear that the venue, the Club Hotel Casino Loutraki, was more than glad to host the events. Loutraki is located on the east coast of the Gulf of Corinth, and word has it that it’s the first ever seaside resort recorded as such in history.
Like all EPT stops, the Loutraki stop will feature a bunch of side events and live super satellites in addition to the Main Event, which is of course the focal point of the stop. The EPT Loutraki stop will run between November 15-20 and it will feature a Main Event which costs €4,000 + €400.
Qualifying for the Main Event is possible at the location, shortly before the action kicks off. Players can buy in directly through PokerStars too. All those who do so, will be considered PokerStars sponsored players.
The best (and cheapest) way to secure a Main Event seat though, is online, through PokerStars. There are direct access satellites already running and what’s even more important: there are sub-satellites running as well, some of which only cost players a handful of FPPs to enter.

The age limit is 21. No one under 21 should even attempt to qualify. The structure of the EPT Loutraki tournaments will be the same one used by other EPT stops too.
