The Everest Poker European Cup is series of online qualifiers leading up to a two day event which will be held at the Chia Laguna Resort on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia. The Finale will offer a prize-pool of €100,000, and there will only be 200 players battling it out for the money.

A seat in the Finals will cost €500 but you won’t be able to buy in directly. As matter of fact, there’s a list of eligible European countries only residents of which can play in the online qualifiers leading up to the event. Each country will have a set of country-specific qualifiers, in which only players with the IP address belonging to the country in question will be allowed to play.
Besides the country-specific qualifiers, All Europe qualifiers will also be available in which everyone from the eligible countries will be able to play.

Winners get a prize package totaling €1,100 in value, which will include the €500 buy-in to the event, 3 night accommodation (which amounts to €300) and €300 in spending money (for travel and other expenses).
Unlike in other such events, the accent here is on talent and skill instead of bankroll size: none of the Everest Poker European Cup qualifiers will feature real money buy-ins. All you need is 10 Summit Points to join one of the sub-qualifiers.
There will also be a set of live qualifiers held in France, Portugal, Spain and the Netherlands where residents of these countries will be able to win their EPEC seats.

Only new players will be allowed to play in these live qualifiers.
