It sounds like a mixture between a massage and a small dog, but actually the Shasta Tables at Everest Poker are a dream come true for many.
Many potential online poker players find the idea of jumping straight into big money games somewhat intimidating and a little foolish; and they'd be right. Hence they look for a playground in which they can find their feet, become familiar with the game, develop skills, and build a bankroll. This is where Everest Poker's Shasta Tables come into play.
Even without making a first deposit customers are invited to play at an Everest Poker Shasta table. The idea of the Shasta Table is that you can build up your bankroll from next to no money thus providing the opportunity for real money play, with real money wins, without the risks of real money gambling. Shasta Sit & Go tournaments are 10 seat affairs with total pots of $0.10 – that couldn't be less intimidating if it came with teddy fur and a bow on top!
Once you have built a little bankroll and feel confident to move on to the next challenge you can give the Sixty tournaments a go. Sixty is a freeroll sit & go with a prize pool of $0.60; each tournament will have 120 players divided onto 20 six-seat tables.
Finally you can have a crack at Tweed and Fuji when you're ready for a buy-in tournament. Both of these are 10-seat tournaments, one with No-Limit Hold'em, the other with Pot Limit Omaha. If you think we're getting ahead of ourselves, don't worry – the buy-in is just $0.05; the training wheels are still on!
So, whether it's for learning the game or building a bankroll it seems like Everest Poker and the Shasta Tables have got it covered.
