The New Year Rake Race at Everest Poker invites players to play texas holdem for money, not just for the regular prizes, but for a place on a leaderboard worth $9,375 each week. In order to take part in the New Year Rake Race members of the on line poker site simply need to opt in on the site and then just play, play, play.
There are four race periods in total spanning the month of January. Race 1 runs from January 2nd – 8th, Race 2 from January 9th – 15th, Race 3 from January 16th – 22nd, and finally Race 4 from January 23rd – 29th. Each of the races will award cash prizes to the top 25 players in the leaderboard. In total Everest Poker will be awarding $37,500 in cash prizes through the New Year Rake Race which works out as $9,375 per week. The top place prize each week is an enormous $1,800.
