Everest Poker is leaving other online poker sites to eat its dust as members rev up for the Gran Prix Rake Race and its $37,100 of prizes.
Online poker sites can be very exciting, but few compare with the revving engines of a Grand Prix. What if a taste of the later was introduced to the former though: you’d have the Everest Poker Grand Prix Rake Race!
The Grand Prix Race is on, and you don’t’ need a crazy car, or even a checkered flag in order to take part; all you need is a real money Everest Poker account and the need for speed. The Grand Prix Rake Race is open to all members who play holdem at real money games and worth a total of a staggering $37,100 in prize money.
There are 5 leaderboards in total making up the Everest Poker Grand Prix; four weekly races and one overall race. The first leaderboard runs up till February 5th; the second starts on February 6th and runs till February 12th, and so on till February 26th. In addition to the weekly leaderboards, Everest Poker players can also partake in the overall leaderboard which will run for the duration of the promotion. From each of the leaderboards the top 20 finishers will receive a cash payout. The first place cash payout is a very impressive $1,750, whilst positions 16th to 20th will receive a handsome $80 each. For those who play holdem in real money games enough to be contenders in the overall leaderboard, they will be playing for a position in a special freeroll tournament. The top 250 finishers on the overall leaderboard will be invited to play in the $2,500 Grand Prix Freeroll to be held on March 3rd.
