Summer may be more for sunbathing than sprinting, but there’s one sprint you’re going to want to make the effort for – the Summer Sprints at Everest Poker.
Everest Poker is turning up the heat on other on line poker sites this month with the Summer Sprints that promise to award $21,400 in prize money across the month of July. It’s a large amount of money to be up for grabs and players are expected to work for it; it is summer time however, so they’re not expected to work too hard! In order to take part in the Summer Sprints, members of Everest Poker must play holdem in real money games at the on line poker site, having already opted in to the promotion. As you play holdem you will be awarded points for the leaderboard; the more points you earn the higher you’ll climb. There is a leaderboard running each week of the month, each with a $5,300 prize pool. The final leaderboard race will run from Monday July 22nd till Sunday July 28th.
At the conclusion of each race period the top 30 players will be awarded cash prizes from the on line poker site’s prize pool. The top cash prize each week will be a very generous $750. Unlike other on line poker sites which offer only nominal payouts to the lower ranking players, Summer Sprints winners are all in line for decent size cash prizes: Even the lowest positions should expect a payout of $50 each.
