The Sit & Go Showdown at Everest Poker was such a roaring success that it’s back for a second round – 5 leaderboards, $15k in prizes; time to play holdem!
When is the right time to play holdem? Well, truth be told, any time is the right time, especially with the Sit & Go Showdown. When you play online poker for money you often seem to spend more time waiting for a tournament to start than you do playing in it; this is absolutely the opposite of the reality with all sit n’ go play, and now that Everest Poker is offering $15,000 in prize money to those who play in their Sit n’ Go tournaments, it’s not just time you save, but points which equal money.
There are 5 leaderboards in total in the Sit & Go showdown; 4 weekly leaderboards and 1 overall leaderboard. There are three levels for each leaderboard period, Bronze ($0.50 + $4.99), Silver ($5 - $29.99), and Gold (over $30). The weekly leaderboard periods run from Sunday to Saturday each week, with the next leaderboard starting on April 7th and running till April 13th. The final leaderboard will run from April 21st till April 27th. Each of the weekly leaderboards has a prize pool of $3,426 whilst the monthly leaderboard has a prize pool of $2,000. If you play online poker for money in the overall leaderboard and finish in the top 150 positions you will be invited to a special $2,000 freeroll tournament. This freeroll tournament will be held on Tuesday April 30th at 19:00 GMT at Everest Poker.
In order to take part in the Sit & Go Showdown at Everest Poker, you just need to opt in on the site and then play holdem for real money in qualifying tournaments.
