Sunday is traditionally a quiet day, but that’s all changed at Everest Poker where Sunday is the day of The Big Prime – the biggest tournament of the week.
Whilst the rest of the world takes it easy on Sunday, the world of online casino games and poker doesn’t know how to rest up, or at least it doesn’t at Everest Poker. Sunday has become the most exciting day of the week for those who play holdem at Everest Poker due to its biggest tournament of the week, The Big Prime. The Big Prime tournament runs each Sunday at 18:00 GMT and can be found under scheduled Tournaments in the Everest Poker lobby. It has a deep stack format and the buy-in and guaranteed prize pool varies. What doesn’t change is the Blind Structure which has a first level of 20/40 and changes every 15 minutes. The other thing that doesn’t change is that the guaranteed prize pool is always huge, we’re talking tens of thousands of dollars huge; and that the Big Prime can be qualified for very easily and very inexpensively.
There are three main ways of qualifying to play holdem in the Big Prime tournament. There are more than 50 satellites running on the day of the tournament – these satellites run with buy-ins of under $2 and they are scheduled regularly throughout the day leading up to the 6 pm tournament, meaning that they are hugely accessible to all. Of course there’s the Everest Steps: The Big Prime requires a Step 3 token and of course the steps can be climbed for a very negligible amount of money. Finally, all members of online casino games and poker sites know that the best way to qualify for anything is for free, and that’s exactly what you can do with the Big Prime freerolls. You can qualify for a Big Prime freeroll tournament by either earning 100 Summit Points, referring a friend, or opening an account and making a deposit during a qualifying period.
All in all there’s not a better way to spend a Sunday evening than to play holdem for tens of thousands of dollars, and with qualifying as easy as collecting summit points, why wouldn’t you join the party!
