The UK is in for a treat this summer with the newest TV Poker Show, Poker Lounge, and you could be taking part through qualifiers at Full Tilt Poker.
The Poker Lounge is on its way and you could be on your way to it with qualifiers now running at the online poker site Full Tilt Poker. The Poker Lounge is a TV Poker Show to be aired weekly from June 22nd to August 24th on Channel 4, with 10 episodes in total. The program is going to see online players pitch their skills against each other as well as against Full Tilt Poker pros such as Gus Hansen and Phil Ivey, and give members of the online poker community the opportunity to win big bucks.
Each of the tournaments will see 6 players play it out for a big prize and with a buy-in of $20,000 and a winner takes all result there’s certainly some big prizes to be had. Each of the tournaments will feature one Full Tilt Poker qualifier who will get there having won a package from the online poker site worth $22,000. Online Poker Lounge qualifier tournaments are now running at the online poker site. The direct buy-in for each of the qualifiers is $600 + $40 but you can also satellite your way to them for just $10. The next direct qualifier for the Poker Lounge will be held on May 23rd, the next on June 13th, and the final one will be on July 4th. All of these qualifiers will lead to a filming session to be held from July 19th through to July 22nd.
The packages which will be awarded from the qualifiers are worth $22,000 each which covers the tournament buy-in as well as $2,000 towards travel and expenses. Some members of the Full Tilt Poker online poker community have already won one of these packages and are gearing up for the first recording session which is to be held from May 15th through to May 17th.
