Just sometimes your favourite past time turns into a lot more than that, and such an occasion is currently occurring at Full tilt Poker with their Aid for Japan tournaments.
The online poker site Full Tilt Poker is stepping up to global responsibility with a set of Aid for Japan online poker tournaments. The special online poker tournaments come after the devastating earthquake and tsunami which left hundreds of thousands dead, injured, and homeless. The Aid for Japan Tournaments are running regularly at the Full Tilt Poker and all tournament fees will go to the Aid for Japan fund. You can play in one of these tournaments for as little as $5 + $5.
Alternatively you can register for one of the Donation Tournaments run at the online poker site. The Donation tournaments will not be played out but rather are a means of giving the members of the online poker site the opportunity to donate the buy-in to the fund. These Donation Tournaments will run on Sunday March 27th at 18:30 ET.
In addition to presenting the members of the online poker community with these opportunities to donate to the Aid for Japan Fund, the online poker site will double the fund money by matching all donations made. If you aren’t a member of the site but would now like to be you can join and take advantage of the first deposit bonus opportunities offered by the site. All new players will get a first deposit bonus of 100% cash match, and will be entered to a special $100k first deposit freeroll tournament.
