The WSOP is nearly over; the WPT Bellagio Cup is about to begin.  Following a strong WSOP delegacy, Full Tilt Poker is now collecting players for the Bellagio Cup.

On July 11th the sixth Bellagio Cup will get underway in the Bellagio, Las Vegas, and five days later the crowned champion will emerge. The star studded tournament has previously had an exclusive buy-in of $15,400, but this year that sum has been dropped to $10,300, making it comparable with the WSOP Main Event. However, $10,300 is still a hefty wad of cash, and hence the online poker sites that have their wits about them are providing packages. One online poker site in particular, Full Tilt Poker, is worth checking out right now with last minute packages being given way as you read this article.

Members of the Full Tilt Poker online poker community are invited to play it out for $12,000 Bellagio Cup packages which cover the tournament buy-in plus an extra $1,700 to help the winners out with travel accommodation, and spending. If you’re doing the math in your head, then yes you’ve got it right – this package will put you in Vegas at the same time as the WSOP Main Event, competing in an equally prestigious tournament at exactly the same time!

There are two routes to winning one of these fantastic packages. Full Tilt Poker will be hosting 3 direct qualifiers to run on June 29th, July 1st, and July 4th. The direct qualifiers have varying buy-ins from $322 to $1,060 but they can be also entered through satellites. The satellites are low buy-in or even free poker tournaments with buy-ins of just $1 or 50 FTPs.  Alternatively, success in a Step 7 sit & go tournament will also see you with one of those prizes. As of now the packages are available to Step 7 winners, but of course you can start on which ever step you wish. The Step 7 sit & go tournaments have a buy-ins of $2,100, but the Step 1 tournaments can be bought into for just $3.30.

Of course the Bellagio Cup is starting very soon, and so there’s no time to loose. The tournaments are running and you have until July 4th to secure one of those packages. If however you do miss the boat, don’t despair. Full Tilt Poker is running a number of attractive and interesting promotions at the moment, for example the Full Tilt Poker Masters Series, and right now there are qualifiers for the Full Tilt Poker Merit Cyprus Classic which will be held in August.
