The FTOPS XVI schedule has been released and Full Tilt Poker has opened the Satellite Challenge – all are welcome, and the prizes are plentiful!
It seems like only a couple of months ago that we were telling you about FTOPS XV – oh wait, that’s because it was only a couple of months ago! – Those folks at Full Tilt Poker certainly don’t hang around when it comes to keeping players in the loop and entertained. The FTOPS XVI has in fact been announced, and it looks set to be bigger and better than ever!
The FTOPS XVI being bought to you of course by Full Tilt Poker is going to consist of 30 events – that’s over 10% more than the February series, and with $18 million in guaranteed prize money this is going to be one massive series. The FTOPS XVI gets started on April 23rd and will include knockout, shootout, turbo, and super turbo events. If it’s big bucks you’re interested in then you must check out the Two Day event with its guaranteed prize pool of $2,000,000 and of course the Main Event that is going to see $3,000,000 paid out in total prizes. It isn’t all about the money at Full Tilt Poker though; there’s definitely honour to be won too. In addition to the prize payouts all final table players will get an FTOPS jacket, event winners will get a gold FTOPS jersey, and best of all a gold jersey avatar for use when playing at the Full Tilt Poker tables.
In addition to the 30 events, there will also be a FTOPS XVI leaderboard. The winner of this leaderboard will get not only their very own custom made avatar, but they will receive entry to all FTOPS XVII events with the exception of the Two-Day event; this prize alone is worth an estimated $9,000!
Full Tilt Poker is of course also running their FTOPS Satellite Challenge. The Satellite Challenge gives you the opportunity to not only earn entry into any of the FTOPS events, but to also earn poker tournament dollars to use once you get there.
