The Full Tilt Poker Merit Cyprus Classic promises to be a star studded event and with a prize pool that is likely to reach $3 million who would not want to be a part of it. The Merit Cyprus Classic will be running from August 17th till August 26th, but the satellites are already being hotly played for at Full Tilt Poker.
The Main Event of the Full Tilt Poker Merit Cyprus Classic will run for six days starting on August 20th, but anyone who qualifies for it through the online poker site Full Tilt Poker will be receiving a whole holiday experience. The packages being offered to members of the Full Tilt Poker online poker community cover the Main Event buy-in of $5,400 plus 10 days at the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel & Casino on an all-inclusive basis. This means that not only will you have the poker tournament to look forward to, but you can also look forward to lazing on the hotel’s private beach, relaxing in the spa, and even attending the Full Tilt poker VIP Launch Party where you’ll be rubbing shoulders with Full Tilt Poker pros. As if all of this isn’t enough, the final table of the Main Event is going to be a televised event meaning that potential stardom is awaiting you to boot.
In order to qualify for one of these $7,500 packages you can play in one of the Full Tilt Poker Merit Cyprus Classic Qualifier Tournaments that are currently running at the poker site. Each Sunday at 13:45 ET there will be a $300 + $22 qualifier from which 2 prize packages are guaranteed, and every Wednesday at 14:45 ET there’ll be a $200 + $16 tournament from which one prize package is guaranteed. In true Full Tilt Poker style however there are many opportunities to be taking part in one of those tournaments without paying the full buy-in. You can qualify through satellites that are running every day at the poker site from as little $5 and up. The Satellites will be running up to and including August 8th. The Full Tilt Poker Merit Cyprus Classic isn’t the only event to grab our attention, or indeed that of the poker forums in August.
