Are you the kind of action junkie who just can’t seem to find fast enough tables to satisfy his thirst for more and more poker hands? Then you must hate it when you fold and you have to wait for the hand to conclude to be dealt in again. Full Tilt has apparently come up with a solution for this problem in a move that’s hailed as the biggest
online poker innovation since the inception of industry itself. Rush Poker is the name of the new concept and keeping players in the middle of the action all the time is the game.
When playing Rush Poker, you won’t have to wait around for the other guys after you fold. The software will automatically move you to a table where you’re immediately dealt in. In Rush Poker, you play every single hand against a different opponent, and thus waiting times are eliminated.
Finding the new Rush Poker games is as easy as 1-2-3. Just log on to your
Full Tilt Poker account and check out the Browse section on the top of the main lobby in both Standard and basic views. There, under Ring Game, Sit’n Go and Tournament, you’ll find Rush Poker. As soon as you set your filter according to your preferences, you’ll be served with a list of Rush Poker games.
Enter the Rush Poker game of your choice by double clicking on it, or through the lobby widgets which are only available in standard view.
In basic view, you can find the Rush Poker tables in the “Type” section, at step 2 after you make your real money/play money choice.
Click the “join now” button in your Rush Poker table lobby and select your buy-in amount. There’s a 3 second countdown before you hit the table. When you join a Rush Poker table for the first time, you’ll be the one paying the Big Blind. After that, it’s always the player who has gone the longest without being in the BB. The Small blind and the other positions are randomly selected in each hand.
The game rules are the standard ring game ones. As you hit fold, you’ll be taken to another table. To go to another table even faster, you can use the “quickfold” button. Once you hit that, you’ll be taken to another table immediately, without waiting for the action to reach you. Your avatar will stay behind and do the actual folding for you.
Believe it or not, even Rush Poker can be multi tabled. Open up and join several tables, see how you can handle it. You can join the same game more than once, but the software will make sure you’re never seated at the same table with yourself. To join multiple tables, all you need to do is to hit the “join now” button over and over in the game lobby. Each click will open up a new Rush Poker table for you.
Several of Full Tilt Poker’s professional players have already expressed their desire to play the new game, so don’t be surprised if you bump into Antonius, Hansen or Chris Ferguson.
