For those of you that aren’t yet familiar with the Super Turbo concept, it’s easy and you’ll be very pleased that you discovered it. The Super Turbo tournaments are a variation on the regular tournaments you find at the online poker site. The changes that have been made to these tournaments are in order to make them faster and crazier. For example in the Super Turbo tournaments players will start with a 300 chip starting stack, and the 9 handed games tend to last for just 15 minutes rather than the regular 1 hour in the case of sit n go tournaments. In addition to the thrill of the Super Turbo tournaments, don’t forget that these will also unlock a potentially much bigger prize for you.
The $100k Super Turbo Step Freeroll is to be held on June 13th at 18:30 ET, in order to qualify you need to earn your ticket. You can earn your ticket by piecing it together – the pieces will be released to you when you cash out in any of the Super Turbo tournaments. If you cash out in a tournament with a buy-in below $5 you’ll receive one piece of the ticket, if the tournament has a buy-in of over $5 you’ll get two pieces. In total there’s only four pieces you need to get, and once you have it that free poker tournament is yours for the taking. In total there will be over 2,000 Steps Tickets given away in the Freeroll and with the WSOP Main Event getting ever closer, 20 finishers might be closer to it than they think.
