Cyprus is beautiful in September, if you don't believe us, why not find out for yourself and play some world class poker whilst you're at it? Full Tilt Poker is giving you the opportunity to do just that as they give away packages for the WPT Cyprus Classic 2009.
The World Poker Tour Cyprus Classic 2009 will be running from September 6th to September 12th and Full Tilt Poker is exclusively giving away packages worth $12,500. The package includes the $10,300 buy-in, 8 days' accommodation in the Merit Crystal Cove Hotel & Casino on an all-inclusive basis, plus $500 for spending money. The tournament itself, with its projected $4 million prize pool will be getting underway on September 6th.
Each Saturday from now until August 22nd will see a WPT Cyprus Classic qualifier and the allocation of at least one prize-package. The direct buy-in for the qualifiers is $300 + $22 however there are satellites running for Full Tilt Points or buy-ins starting from just $1.
The WPT Cyprus is expected to be televised regionally and is part of the European flare that is characterising the WPT this summer. In May the WPT was in Venice, and it is currently in Barcelona. Directly prior to visiting Cyprus, the WPT will be in Slovakia; following Cyprus it will return to the USA briefly before moving to Marrakech, after which it will return State-side for the rest of the season.
