The events featured cover a wide range of
poker tournament structures and poker variants. HORSE, Razz and 6-Card Omaha will all be featured in addition to 3 surprise events, said to be “newly revealed” ones.
As far as the structure of the action goes, there are Rush Poker tournaments, Flipout tournaments as well as a selection of Re-entry events and Multi-day tournaments.
Even though the MiniFTOPS buy-ins are small to begin with, one can further reduce the costs by satelliting his/her way in, for as little as $0.05 or 25 FTP points.
The Series will once again culminate in the Main Event, which kicks off on Sunday, May 4, and which features a $70+$5 buy-in. The guaranteed prize-pool of this NL Holdem Re-entry event is $600k, and given the popularity of the Series, it is indeed safe to assume that the guarantee will be handily covered, and even easily exceeded.
Among the 31 events that make up the MiniFTOPS XXV, there will be quite a few other attractions as well though, like event #28, the 2-day event, which kicks off on May 3. This one is the largest buy-in MiniFTOPS event: it costs $215 to enter, and it too features
NL Holdem action. The guarantee in this tournament is $200k.
Event #17 is another multi-day tournament still to come, which features several Day 1 flights. Those who are eliminated from one of the Day 1s get to re-register for the others.
Two mystery events, #18 and #27 will kick off on April 28 and May 2. Event #18 is a 4-handed NL Holdem affair, while event #27 is a Flipout tournament, featuring a $10k guarantee.
