Full Tilt Poker have already found a great use for their recently introduced achievements and accomplishments system: They have made it a part of their new Team Pro Achievements promotion, which allows players to use a few achievements to make their way into either Gus Hansen’s of Viktor Blom’s team.
Here’s the breakdown: by completing at least four Achievements (only one achievement per day counts towards the promotion, so that means players need to complete a minimum of one Achievement every day for four days), players will earn their way into one of the above said two Full Tilt pros’ Flip Freeroll.
What sort of Achievements are we talking about?
Earning at least one Full Tilt point at the Adrenaline Rush tables is one such achievement. Felting an opponent in a cash game or earning at least one Full Tilt Point through the Rush Poker Mobile App will also suffice. Players can also make a minimum deposit of $20 or they can transfer at least $20 from their PokerStars account.
Other ways to secure the needed number of Achievements is to buy a ticket in the Full Tilt Store, to play a real money Multi-Day Tournament and to play in at least two real money SNGs at the same time.
Those who manage to log the necessary Achievements will get to choose whether they want to play for Team Gus or Team Viktor by using their freeroll tickets to register for the corresponding Flip Freeroll. The two Flip Freerolls kick off on March 19.
Both freerolls offer a $5k prize-pool, in addition to which, those who make the top 8, win a pro team spot and a Team Viktor or Team Gus hoodie.
Before getting down to the real deal, each new team member will get to play a training match against the team captain, a match which will feature a $1k prize. These training matches will take place on March 23 and they will be followed that same day by the direct confrontation between the two teams. The members will play among them one-on-one and the two captains will go up against each-other.
The team which will score the most heads-up victories will win the contest, and each and every one of its members will be rewarded with $2k.
