About Doyles Room

Doylesroom has recently been acquired by Americas Cardroom. If you have any questions regarding your account or ongoing promotions please check it with Americas Cardroom FAQ page.

Doyle’s Room is Doyle Brunson’s online poker operation. The living poker legend launched the room back in 2004, when the online poker popularity explosion was in full swing. The room has been moving from one network to another since, sometimes accepting US players other times not, depending on the policies of the network it was on. Because most of its player base was from the US, the room felt the effects of the UIGEA in a particularly pronounced way.

Nowadays, Doyle’s Room is a member of the Cake network, and it does accept US players. The network wide traffic that the Cake network offers has certainly had a role in the re-invigoration of the venture too though.

According to Doyle, who is featured in a flash intro at the room’s website, Doyle’s room is much more than just a place to play cards. It features a healthy team of in-house professionals which offers a great opportunity for players not only to learn the tricks of the trade first hand, but also to score extra prizes in various bounty events.

About Doyles Room Software

One of Doyle’s Room’s greatest shortcomings in the past was the poker software they used. It was dated, graphically inadequate and overall a drag. The move to the Cake network improved things greatly in that respect. The Cake software is modern, it has a well put together lobby, it is smooth and fast. The industry standard statistics like the flops viewed percentages, the average pot sizes and the number of hands played per hour are all available directly from the lobby.

While multi tabling is aided by the possibility of opening up 10 tables simultaneously, there are no mini views offered currently to further facilitate multi table play.

The graphics are all right, and players can choose from several avatars. Opponents can be tagged and notes can be taken on them, although the note taking feature is a little difficult to work with. The bottom line is that while it’s definitely not the best software package the industry has to offer, the Cake software is indeed competitive and it may just put Doyle’s Room back onto the list of modern, competitive online poker operations.

Doyles Room Promotions and Best Bonus

Doyle’s Room currently offers a 110% match on player deposits, up to a respectable $600. Only new players are eligible to receive this bonus. The bonus is released into players’ real money accounts in $10 increments. Each such $10 batch takes 166.66 FPPs to redeem. Players will generate FPPs by playing in real money cash games and tournaments. In cash games, for every $1 they generate in rake, players receive 1 FPP. In tournaments, every $1 paid out in tournament fees is rewarded with 7 FPPs. The minimum amount players have to deposit in order to qualify for the bonus is $30.

The sign-up bonus carries a validity of 90 days. If you secure a bonus (like a reload bonus) before having redeemed your sign-up one, you’ll have to redeem/expire your sign-up bonus before you can start unlocking your new bonus.

Doyle’s Room has been rejuvenated promotions wise too. There’s a $1,000 freeroll every weekend, to which players can qualify through one of the nightly feeder freerolls. First depositors are automatically invited to the freeroll.

The Royal flush bonus offers players an excellent chance to make extra money. Depending on the limits at which they play, they’ll be able to take down a $250 or a $1,000 bonus. Both hole cards need to be used in the hand to qualify players for the bonus.

Live qualifiers to the Aussie Millions are also on offer as well as packages worth $17,000 to the WPT’s Doyle Brunson Five Diamonds Poker Classic.

Every week, Doyle’s room hosts a $50,000 bounty event in which players can chat with and play against the in-house pros like Mike Caro, Todd Brunson and Hoyt Corkins, not to mention the great Doyle Brunson himself.

Other promotions on offer are Doyle Brunson’s Las Vegas experience and the Loose Change tournaments. Probably for the first time in its history, Doyle’s Room offers its players casino games too.

Doyles Room Tournaments 2018-2019

As far as tournaments go, at Doyle’s Room you’ll find just about everything the industry generally offers in this respect. There are plenty of MTTs featuring a wide range of buy-ins, SNGs are excellent bankroll builders. Turbo and Speed tournaments are also on the schedule. Direct access satellites for live events are available as well as a whole bunch of special events.

The weekly $50,000 bounty is one such special event. Then there’s the Sunday freeroll I detailed above. The crown jewel of Doyle’s Room’s tournament schedule is the weekly $100,000 guaranteed, which features a buy-in of $150+$12 but to which players can qualify through satellites as well.

The $250,000 Guaranteed is a monthly event to which entry costs $250+$18. Online qualifiers run for this one as well.

Doyles Room Special Offers 2018-2019

Without a doubt, one of the biggest attractions about this online poker room is the possibility to play against Tex Dolly himself. Of course playing against Mike Caro, Todd Brunson and Hoyt Corkins isn’t an everyday privilege either. The Doyle’s Room professional team is definitely the most unique feature of the site which would otherwise only be your average Cake poker room.

The special tournaments detailed above are pretty attractive too although I suppose you can find those same promotions in other poker rooms as well.

Doyles Room Accept US Players

Doyle’s Room has recently moved from the Microgaming network to the Cake network, precisely to be able to keep accepting US players. Many of the players at Doyle’s Room were Americans, so Doyle and his crew made the move to protect the US player base. Thanks to the traffic offered by The Cake network, coupled with their own US based traffic, Doyle’s Room boasts fair player liquidity these days.

Around 7,700 players log on to Doyle’s Room at peak hours. 5,000 of these players are at the tournament tables. The majority of the traffic is focused on the Holdem tables, especially on the NL ones, but Omaha tables get some action as well.

Doyles Room Support

The support at Doyle’s Room is one of the best in the online poker industry. The staff is knowledgeable and replies are fast. Live online support is also available. If you have an account registered, you’ll be able to ask for instant help.

Support is reachable through toll free phone too as well as through the traditional email. Replies on emailed questions are relatively fast too. Make sure you consult the FAQ section of the site before you contact support. You may find an answer to your question there
