About Ladbrokes
Ladbrokes Poker is hosted on its own network and runs on a customized version of Microgaming’s poker software. This means there are no network policies this poker rooms needs to yield to, and as such it can do whatever it deems necessary to attract player traffic. Such independent poker rooms are usually the ones which come up with the best bonuses, promotions and the best overall deals for their players.
Ladbrokes Poker is no exception in this respect. Its promotions are all excellent and it even offers rakeback – something that can provide players an interesting and welcome advantage.
Its software also features some pretty unique special options.
Ladbrokes also runs one of the world’s biggest online sportsbooks and the world’s best paying online casino. Players drifting over from the blackjack and roulette tables make excellent fish, which would be a reasonable explanation as to why Ladbrokes is host to some of the juiciest poker games in the industry.
The Ladbrokes brand also lends this site credibility and a sense of security which is yet to be proven false.

Ladbrokes Software
Ladbrokes Poker’s graphics are hands down not the most breath taking in the industry. Most players will agree that they’re a little flat and lifeless, but then again everything in Ladbrokes’ software seems to yield to functionality. In that respect, this pimped up piece of Microgaming software is excellent.
The absence of avatars might be viewed as a graphics shortcoming by some, but in the same time it makes for a much cleaner table view. The software allows 8 tables to be opened simultaneously for multi tabling purposes, both in cash games and in tournaments. Mini table views are also available but while they aid multi tabling nicely, it needs to be said that hole cards become hardly readable in these downscaled windows. The software remains fast and flawless even when the maximum number of tables is open.
The usual statistics are available, and players can take notes on their opponents during play. An interesting feature is the ability to replay past hands, something which may come in very handy for educational purposes.
Ladbrokes Poker Promotions and Best Bonus
Ladbrokes Poker’s promotion system is quite outstanding. The sign up bonus that they offer is a 100% match on your deposit up to $500, which is pretty generous in itself, but the redemption requirements make it an even better deal. You need to generate 30 Ladbrokes points per bonus dollar by playing in real money games, and you need to redeem your bonus in 30 days. If you fail to do so, your bonus will be forfeited.
Remember to send Ladbrokes a bonus claim after you’ve mustered all the Ladbrokes points needed to have your bonus released.
To keep its players loyal, Ladbrokes offers a 30% rakeback deal, plus near-monthly reload bonuses which are in the 25-50% match range.
The Ladbrokes points needed for bonus redemption can also be used to buy into tournaments and to get cash back.
The “refer a friend” promotion gives you $50 in case you convince one of you friends to join you at Ladbrokes Poker.
Ladbrokes also offers a Bad Beat Jackpot, $80,000 in monthly prizes in freerolls, as well as the possibility to open private tables where you can have your friends join you for a game.
Ladbrokes Poker Tournaments 2018-2019
Ladbrokes offers direct access satellites to some of the world’s most prestigious live poker events. The Monte Carlo Millions and different EPT stop main events are all accessible through these satellites. If the direct buy-ins seem steep for you, you can always opt for a much smaller buy-in sub satellite which gives you nearly the same opportunity for a much smaller cost.
Ladbrokes has around 5,000 tournament players at its peak hours and runs a bunch of MTTs and STTs around the clock. MTTs can be accessed for a wide array of buy-ins (starting from as little as $1) and play tends to be rather loose in them.
Ladbrokes also runs monthly $150,000 and $250,000 GTDs, which attract a bunch of high profile players.
Bottom line: Ladbrokes is not a tournament paradise, but action is certainly lively enough and if you couple it up with the promotions offered, you get a very competitive little package.
Ladbrokes Poker Special Offers 2018-2019
What’s unique or outstanding about Ladbrokes? Well, for starters there’s the software they have. A modified Microgaming creation, it is surprising through the special options it offers (like the hand replay option).
The fact that it has a casino and a sportsbook as its main source of players gives birth to extremely loose games (cash games as well as tournaments) in which a savvy player can rack up a nice profit.
Ladbrokes used to offer rakeback but apparently have removed this offer from their promotions. Even so, with Ladbrokes' cashback option and the easily redeemable bonus you’ve got a sure winner.
Ladbrokes Poker Do Not Accept US Players
The UIGEA and the U.S. persecution of online gambling and poker that followed, prompted Ladbrokes to close its tables to US traffic. While this resulted in a significant loss of traffic and a shift in policy towards the European market, I think it’s safe to affirm that Ladbrokes has absorbed the blow relatively well and can be counted among the successful survivors of the UIGEA.
Ladbrokes Poker Support
As a long time casino and sportsbook operator, Ladbrokes knows all too well the value of an outstanding customer support.
While the support staff are friendly and know their trade, support can only be contacted either via email or telephone. The most efficient, not to mention fastest, support solution: live chat, is yet to be implemented.
