Forget the cloudy weather and winter blues; PokerStars is sending players to the sun with PokerStars Caribbean Adventure packages worth over $15,000.
The weather’s getting colder, shorts and short skirts are being swapped for scarves and woolly jumpers. Wouldn’t that make this the perfect time to think about jetting off to a place where the sand is golden, the girls are skimpily dressed, and all the drinks come with little umbrellas? PokerStars certainly thinks so, and hence they’ve started they’re qualifiers for the 2011 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure.
The PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, or PCA will be held at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas from January 7th to 16th, 2011, and during that period no less than 45 events will be held, including the whopping $20,000,000 Main Event for which PokerStars is now giving away packages worth over $15k, and guess what; some of those qualifiers are free poker play tournaments!
There are currently running sit & go qualifiers at the online poker site which will lead into the PCA Fantasy Final freerolls which will be held each week. Once you’re there you can fight it out for one of the 12 packages on offer plus a share of an added $14,000 that will be shared between the top 2,000 finishers.
In order to enter a free poker play PCA sit & go qualifier simply go to the Events tab in the PokerStars lobby and then click on PCA. If you’re a new player at PokerStars you can take advantage of an even easier way to get to the final: when making your first deposit at the site enter the code PCA2011 and you’ll get awarded a ticket to one of the PCA Fantasy Final freeroll tournaments at the online poker site in addition to the regular sign up bonus.
