Sundays are about to get even bigger with added value tournaments running at PokerStars – just be sure to note the change in times.
PokerStars are shaking up their Sunday schedule, but rather than the members of the online poker site losing out on anything, they will actually gain a whole lot more. For a long time now, Sunday at PokerStars has been known as a big buck business, but it's about to get bigger than ever with a change from June 5th. As of June 5th the big Sunday tournaments including the Sunday Storm, Sunday warm-Up, and Sunday Million will be starting 2 hours earlier than they have done up till now. In order to mark the change or maybe it's just a good excuse to reward the members of the online poker community, PokerStars will not only be doubling the guarantees in all of their Sunday Major tournaments on Sunday June 5th, but they will also be adding more than $200,000 in value-added satellites. PokerStars thereby are not only giving you a much increased chance in getting into one of the Sunday Majors, but also once you have gotten into one you will be playing for a slice of a prize pool equal to nearly $5 million!
In order to qualify at the online poker site for one of the Sunday Majors you can take part in any number of daily value added satellite tournaments being run by PokerStars. All tournaments can be found in the PokerStars lobby; simply go to Tourney and then Satellite. You’ll see the satellites listed according to times which then correspond to the tournament they are for. So Sunday Million satellites run at 14:30, whilst Sunday Warm-Up satellites start at 11:00 ET. Over the course of the day you’ll find satellites for all of the following tournaments: Sunday Kick-off, Sunday Warm-Up, Sunday Re-buy, Sunday Storm, Sunday Million, Sunday 500, Sunday Second Chance, and Sunday Supersonic. All of these tournaments have between 10 and 100 seats added and between $1,100 and $10,750 added.
