Time is a valuable asset and this has never been truer than now at PokerStars where members of the online poker community can partake in Time Tourneys.
The online poker site giant PokerStars has always been a trend setter, and as they introduce Time Tourneys it’s easy to see why. Time Tourneys are a new type of online poker tournament that will not only keep players on their toes, but will be appealing to all members of the online poker community. Whether you’re on a short lunch break, rushing out of the house, waiting for a TV program to start, Time Tourneys are just the tournament you’re after. These new PokerStars tournaments are based entirely on time, so you get to choose how long you are playing for. The minimum length of a tournament will be 15 minutes, and the maximum will be 180 minutes. When the time for the tournament has run out the winner and the payouts will be calculated according to stack sizes.
To find the Time Tourneys you need to go to the Tourney tab in the PokerStars software and there you’ll see tournaments marked with the icon of a stopwatch, alternatively you can type Time into the Tourney Filter and this will get you to them too. The Time Tourneys are being offered by the online poker site around the clock with buy-ins starting from just $1.
PokerStars is celebrating the launch of their Time Tourneys in two ways. Players making a deposit of at least $30 using the bonus code TIME before October 28th will receive a bonus ticket for a Time Tourney worth $5.50. PokerStars is also running a 2 hour Time Tourney on Saturdays at 13:00 ET with a $22 buy-in called the Saturday Countdown. The Saturday Countdown has a prize pool of $10,000 guaranteed.
