The UKIPT Poker League at PokerStars is a fun and inexpensive way to qualify for the next UKIPT event.

PokerStars has always got its finger on the pulse and right now the heart of poker is the UKIPT: UK and Ireland Poker Tour. As such the online poker site is offering its members the opportunity to play in the next UKIPT event, and guess what? They can take part virtually for free. Each month PokerStars is awarding 2 packages to a UK and Ireland Poker Tour event as well as cash prizes, and satellite entries. All of this is happening through the UKIPT Poker League, and this is how it works.

There are 2 divisions making up the UKIPT Poker League each with daily tournaments running at the online poker site. In order to partake, members of the PokerStars online poker community simply need to earn points by playing in these daily tournaments. At the end of the month the top 100 finishers will get prizes. The top prize each month is a £1,550 package covering the event buy-in, accommodation, and some money towards expenses. The second prize is a seat only package worth £560. In addition the packages, there are also cash prizes amounting to £1,700, plus over £750 in UKIPT satellite qualifier tickets.

Now for the kicker; you could actually be playing in the UKIPT league, and earning one of these great prizes for free poker play! Which ever division you play in, this promotion isn’t going to set you back much. Division 1 tournaments run daily at 19:30 and have a buy-in of £1.10, whilst Division 2 tournaments are free poker play tournaments, and they run at 19:00. To register for either of the division tournaments simply go to the PokerStars lobby where you’ll see they Tourney tab. Go to the regional tab and there you’ll see the free poker play and paid play tournaments.

The UKIPT is broadcast weekly on Channel 4, and in addition to the UKIPT Poker League, there are other satellites running at the online poker site for the events.
